At the Heron Street Mission facility, our men’s shelter program, more than 30 men are receiving shelter each night, and many more are served meals, given access to showers, and provided clothing each day.

 

We also provide emergency services, food and clothing to those who are at risk of homelessness.   (see Community Services)

 

At the Friendship House, our 38 bed women's and children's facility, many women and children receive the love, care, safety and support they need to get their lives back in order.

 

All of our services are free of charge thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

 

Every weekday evening at 7 pm, Union Gospel Mission invites our guests and members of the community to join us for worship. Several churches in the Aberdeen area are involved in this community outreach program, joining us at the Mission to conduct services and help serve meals.
